6 months ago I went to Dubai for holiday with my family - (you can find my blog post/vlog over at www.thegirlinthecity.com) I think Dubai is beautiful and I would love to go again. Dubai is a beautiful place to relax and catch some sunrays. When you go to Dubai it’s hard to believe that this was just once an empty desert and now it’s full of skyscrapers, hotels, palaces and a beautiful dancing fountain. I think everyone should visit Dubai at least once, so to help you plan your trip I’ve set out the top 5 attractions you should visit in Dubai. 1. Burj KhalifaYou wouldn’t want to miss this spectacular view that oversees the beauty of Dubai. From the moment you enter the building you’re treated like royalty, you can walk all around the top of the floor and there is an outdoor section so that you can absorb the breathtaking view. Photos don’t do this attraction any justice – you have to see it to really appreciate the view. Top Tip – I recommend going 45 minutes or so before sunset so that you can see both day and night view, so romantic and scenic. 2. Dancing FountainsThere’s no excuse not to visit the dancing fountain as its right next to Dubai Mall – even more reason to visit it after dinner for an evening stroll. Watching the water dance to the sound of music is an absolute treat; also having Burj Khalifa in the background is a spectacular view. Plus it helps cool you down in the heat and its free so it’s best not to miss out on this, especially for the view. Top Tip – Make sure you stand right next to the railing to experience the mist on your face. 3. Wild Wadi Water ParkThis water park is spotless and the rides are nicely spread out with fantastic views of Burj Al Arab and the Jumeirah Beach Hotels. There are lots of great rides to keep you entertained for the day – such as tantrum alley, burj surj, lazy river and master blaster. Top Tip – eat lightly before you go as the rides do make you get hungry, good thing is that there are lots of food/drink pop up shops. 4. Desert SafariDesert Safari is a thrilling experience, it’s a must do tourist experience. Surfing over the sand dunes is a once in a lifetime experience, followed by dinner, belly dancing, fire breather and other exciting entertainments. There are lots of chances to take photos in the desert especially when the sun is setting, which is an amazing sight.. so calming!! Top Tip – don’t eat before attending this activity. Also this activity almost takes a whole day so it’s advisable to book the tour from a well-known travel agent. Ski DubaiSki Dubai is located in the Mall of Emirates, although this is quite expensive this is a great experience of the world’s largest indoor ski dome. You are provided with a jacket, boots and gloves so you don’t get cold in the chilly temperatures. Within the ski dome you can ski, meet the penguins and go zorbing. This is a unique attraction and I highly recommend for families to spend a couple of fun hours here. I hope you decide to take a trip to Dubai one day !!
