The cosmopolitan capital of Italy; Rome is one of the most history, architecture, art and culture rich countries of the world. The centre of the Roman empire, this city has so much to see and do, as it is a blend of ancient and modern features, so we've recommended the top ten attractions in Rome that you cannot miss whilst in this ancient city.
The infamous capital of the vibrant and culture rich country that is Italy, Rome is a beautiful city and densely populated with museums and galleries brimming with treasure. If Rome isn’t on your bucket list, it definitely needs to be. Home to one of the seven wonders of the world (Colosseum duh), the city is full of amazing art and culture as well as a lushious collection of Italian cuisine. I was pleasantly surprised by how inexpensive and accessible Rome is, we never felt that we couldn’t afford some of the attractions or that we had to budget our meals, instead Rome is an excellent option for a long summer weekend.
